New cast member

Greeting cast and crew of Miracle,

With Paul recovering in the hospital (Godspeed Paul), we have invited Kevin Fox to do the part of Tammany O'Halloran our final weekend.

Kevin, many of you may know, is father of our fellow cast members Sarah Jo and Izzie Fox.   He will be joining us on Wed for brush up rehearsal.

Welcome Kevin and get well soon Paul!

Update on Cast member

Hello cast and crew,

Thank you so much for a great show on Sunday, especially with everything going on backstage.

Our cast member who went to the hospital did have a heart attack.  They have put two stents in and he has been transferred to Erie-Hamot Medical Center.

His wife says he will be fine but will be in hospital a few days and then on bed rest.  Unfortunately, he wont be able to return to the show for our final weekend but we will be covering that this week.

They send their best to everyone and also thank everyone very, very much for the assistance and the support.   We will have a card for him at the rehearsal on wed and the show on Fri (as some can't make rehearsal) that we will send to him.

Again, thank you all.   You truly have redefined what it means to be a theatre family!

Ted

We're almost there everyone!   Great rehearsal last night.  Looks like just a few things to fine tune and we are good to go.

I will be at the theatre at 6pm to answer questions, give personal notes and be available.

Cancelled-Monday Rehearsal due to Sandy

Good morning all.  I am sitting in Rochester NY this morning, preparing to drive back to Franklin and closely watching the latest reports on Hurricane-Nor'easter-Frankenstorm Sandy.

I have decided to CANCEL tonight's rehearsal.   The forecast is calling for HEAVY RAIN, and winds in the 30-40 mile per hour range, with guts to 60plus MPH.    Your safety tonight is my concern so please stay home, hunker down, and be safe.

I would like to reschedule for TUESDAY OCTOBER 30 for Fred, Doris and Susan.   We can rehearse while the ensemble is rehearsing their musical numbers.

Thank you.

Miracle on 34th Street comes to the Barrow-Civic Theatre

Kris Kringle takes on the cynics among us in this musical adaptation of the popular holiday favorite.

In his inimitable style, Meredith Willson (THE MUSIC MAN, THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN), tells us the classic story of the year. A white-bearded gentleman claiming to be the real Santa Claus brings about a genuine MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET, spreading a wave of love throughout New York City, fostering camaraderie between Macy’s and Gimbel’s Department Stores, and convincing a divorced, cynical single mother, her somber daughter and the entire state of New York that Santa Claus is no myth.

Filled with humor, spectacle (the opening scene takes place at none other than Macy’s famous Thanksgiving Parade) and such beloved songs as “Pinecones and Hollyberries,” “It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas” and “My State, My Kansas,” this joyous, heart-warming musical is pure family entertainment, wholesome without being cloying.

MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET THE MUSICAL is the perfect holiday treat for any theatre!
